Description
Our rank chevrons are made from rough navy wool with light blue cotton embroidery, which gives them that authentic feeling that every impressionist craves. These particular RAF Rank Chevrons were worn by NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers) in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. Their versatility makes them a perfect choice for your RAF reenactment.
The rank of Sergeant was awarded to senior enlisted soldiers within a platoon or troop, acting as second-in-command. Many also had specialist roles. They have the important role of advising and assisting junior officers.
A must-have for anyone looking for a precise part of a British re-enactment kit or as part of a display piece.
