Description
Our Reproduction of the “Tommy” cape is perfect for wet reenactments or rainy strolls in the park. The cape's versatility is demonstrated by the 18 holes around the edge of the cape – perfect for binding to other capes/sheets or even using as a groundsheet. The WW2 British Army Cape also has a rubberised fabric and a collar flap to keep the product as watertight as possible. 4 large buttons keep the cape neatly closed.
The British Army "Tommy" Cape was first introduced in 1917. Folded up and carried under the flap of the small pack when not in use, the cape also saw action right throughout WW2. It has a small hanging loop on the inside so you can dry it easily.
This product is a must for those rainy re-enactment days or perhaps a stroll through a local park.
