Description
Original British Gas Masks in original bags. These were designed to free soldiers from the cumbersome filter boxes and hoses of earlier issue masks. These appear to have been on their travels to Denmark as they contain post-war filters and the bag has been stamped with the Danish Crown. They come with an original WW2 Gas Mask Bag, as well as the filter.
The olive-drab, canvas bag has two small pockets on either side and a small internal pouch which contains the Danish Civil Service Handbook The top flap is date stamped (1940's), and the bag is secured shut by threading a short canvas strap through a metal loop.
Please Note - They are original pieces of kit, now 70 years old. We do not recommend using them, but they are ideal for WW2 collectors.
