The 'Pour Le Mérite' with Oakleaves, or Blue Max with Oakleaves as it became known during WW1 was one of the highest Prussian awards of merit awarded between 1813 and 1918. The addition of the oakleaves indicated extraordinary achievement in battle.
These quality reproductions of the award feature the blue enamelled cross with gold coloured eagles, and come complete with the black and silver ribbon.
