This reproduction Old Guard Chevron is to be placed on the upper right sleeve – it features a woollen backing with 3 rows of silver tresse. These were awarded to SS members who were part of Hitler’s NSDAP, Allgemeine SS or other organisations before 1933. An award for being one of Hitler’s day ones. Later these conditions were extended to include more SS members.
