Waffen-SS Officer Silver Belt Buckle - Economy
Economy quality reproduction Waffen-SS Officers Silver belt buckle.
To begin with, the SS were just a wing of the SA and wore the standard SA style buckle,In time when the SS became a distinguished unit they adopted their own SS buckle, sometime around 1931-1932 with the Officers buckles being put into production slightly after.
From 1934 until 1943 the SS uniform and kit was under supervision of the RZM for the procurement and distribution of all the SS kit, after 1943 the SS took control of their own production so you'll see late war kit that wouldn't be stamped with the RZM mark.
The buckle is made from stamped aluminium and features the SS Eagle with downwards swept wings, clutching a large wreath and ever present Swastika and text "Meine Ehre Heißt Treue" (My Honour Is Loyalty) To the rear are two hooks for the belt keeper and prongs for attaching to the belt.
Please note: This buckle is designed to be worn with a Waffen-SS Officers belt, and it may not fit other belt styles.
