US Army Officer Cap Badge as used during WW2.
This is the US Officer version, being larger and without the backing of the Enlisted man's badge. This US Officers badge was worn on the Service visor cap by USAAF or US Army troops. Gold in colour, the badge is fastened with two pins and a screw back.
The cap badge is approximately 6.5cm by 6cm.
