Description

This reproduction of US 1 Star Brigadier General Rank Badge. The badge comes in silver with a clutch pin back to attach to the uniform. Each badge is approximately 2.5cm x 2.5cm

In the US Military silver stars are used in the rank insignia of General Officers, starting at one and increasing by one for the successive ranks. The rank of four-star General is currently considered to be the highest appointment an officer can achieve.

It is equivalent to the rank of rear admiral (lower half) in the other uniformed services.
