Theodor Eicke Officers Cuff Title.
Worn by Officers of the 6th Panzergrenadier Regiment "Theodor Eicke" of the SS-Totenkopf Division.
The SS-Totenkopf Division was formed largely from personnel of the SS-Totenkopfverbände and due to it's insignia was known as the "Death's Head Division". The division fought in the Battle of France in 1940 then in the invasion of the Soviet Union. The division fought extensively on the Eastern Front and was involved in the Axis response to the Warsaw Uprising.
Theodor Eicke was the Commander of the Totenkopf Division during the invasion of France and later at the Battle of Kursk where he was killed when his plane was shot down. The 6th Panzergrenadier regiment was named in his honour.
This cuff title is made from aluminium silver bullion thread on black woven wool base with aluminium silver wire border.
