SS Polizei Cuff Title in Grey Thread.
Worn by Enlisted men of the SS Polizei Division.
4th SS Polizei Panzergrenadier Division was formed in 1939 from members of the Ordnungspolizei. It fought briefly in the Battle of France and later served on the eastern Front against the Soviet Union. In 1944 the Division undertook anti-partisan operations in Greece. In 1945 the division was moved to the frontline in Pomerania and attempted to relieve German forces in Berlin.
These black cuff titles are embroidered with the SS runes and 'Polizei' in grey thread. They feature a thin silver coloured border close to the upper and lower edges of the band.
