SS-KBT-Abt EM Cuff Title

SS-KBT-Abt Cuff Title as worn by EM serving in the War Correspondent battalion.
This cuff title was issued to the SS-Kriegsberichter-Abteilung after they replaced the SS-Kriegsberichter-Kompanie in August 1941 following the expansion of the Waffen-SS. The SS-KB-Abt became a regiment in December 1943 and was awarded the honour title SS-Standarte ‘Kurt Eggers’ after the former editor of the SS newspaper Das Schwarze Korps was killed in action at Kharkov in August 1943.
These black cuff titles are embroidered with the SS runes and ‘KB-Abt' in grey thread. They feature a thin silver coloured border close to the upper and lower edges of the band.
