Quality WW2 German Repro SS Helferin Cuff Title
After completed basic and specialised training at the SS-Reichscchule for women, the successful graduates would be assigned as SS-Helferin. Only graduates from the Reichsschule would be eligible to serve in the SS-Helferinnen. Himmler eventually intended to replace all female civilian employees in his service with SS-Helferinnen members, as they were selected and trained according to NSDAP ideology and faced the same, strict racial criteria that those who wished to marry an SS man faced.
Worn 6 inches above the cuff, a cuff title is a form of insignia placed on the sleeve, near the cuff of German military and paramilitary uniforms, most commonly seen in the Second World War but also seen post-war. Cuff titles are generally associated with units of the Waffen-SS but were widely used by other branches of the German military, including paramilitary and civilian organizations.
