From 1930 until the fall of the Soviet Union, outstanding achievements in the defence of the Soviet Union were commonly rewarded with the Order of the Red Star. Initially it was primarily awarded to high ranking officials, but it was later awarded to enlisted servicemen, and even ships or full units.
These quality replicas feature the Red Star in a finely enamelled design. There is also a screw-back on the reverse for fitting.
