Our meticulous Star Cockade badge is made especially for your Ushanka or Field cap. They are made from painted brass and measure 2.4cm across. Benefitting from a detailed and iconic Hammer & Sickle centred on a star back – this is the perfect badge for any M41 Russian impression.
Original cockades were made of an iron bi-metal, which made them magnetic. Fortunately, these have been made from brass and therefore are not magnetic. During WW2, hats with these cockades were worn by soldiers, sergeants, and cadets during training exercises and on the field.
