These gloves are based on the design of traditional US G.I. cold-weather liners. Historically, soldiers modified these standard-issue items by cutting off the fingertips to maintain the dexterity needed to operate weapons, radios, and field equipment without fully exposing their hands to the cold. The 70% wool and 30% nylon blend ensures your hands stay warm, even if the fabric becomes damp.
