RAF Signallers Wing
Reproduction Royal Air Force Signallers Wing Patch.
An aircrew brevet (or badge) is a badge worn on the left breast, above any medal ribbons, by qualified aircrew of the Royal Air Force.
These brevets were introduced in 1944, a year after the role was split off from that of Air Gunner. An Air Signaller is a person trained to communicate between the aircraft, its base and units in the area of operation, usually by radio.
They feature the S initial flanked by a brown wreath, alongside the white wing on a dark blue background.
Great reproduction brevets of WW2 RAF Signallers.
