Quality reproduction of the silk scarves used by Aviators during the first half of the 20th Century. These silk scarves were popular during the early to mid 1900s for both military and civilian aviators and were intended to help prevent chaffing to the neck area of heavy flight jackets. Our scarvesy are made from a 'single ply polyester/silk blend' .
