Our reproduction of this practical piece offers a faithful reflection of the original design, adding a touch of authenticity to any reenactment.

Description
The Pickelhaube Helmet Cover served as an essential piece of field equipment for German soldiers during World War I, providing camouflage on the battlefield. Reflective brass and silver, while great as an ornate decoration for parades and ceremonies, proved impractical during combat. As such, these covers were introduced as an effective means to reduce visibility to the enemy.
Our reproduction captures the essence of the original cover with its olive-green hue and spike top which allowed for ventilation during extended use. Easily attachable, the cover comes with four hooks designed to clip on and off as needed.
