Original US III Corps Patch
The III Corps was active during WW1 and WW2, and after the wars, the corps became part of the training plan for US Army troops before they were sent overseas for the Gulf War, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
The insignia for the corps is in the shape of a three-pointed star. The background is blue with a black outline and a white triangle in the centre. The badge measures 7.5cm at the widest point and 5.5cm at the highest.
