Description
Worn by US military personnel, these neckerchief scarves were commonly seen during the Vietnam War era and are still in use by some branches today. Each color denotes the wearer’s branch of service, much like Lt Col Kilgore’s Cavalry yellow ascot in Apocalypse Now. These original pieces are unissued US Army surplus, with some showing a manufacture date of 1969. Though they may have a few small marks from storage, they remain in excellent condition, making them ideal for period reenactments or as a collectible item. The scarves are designed to be rolled and tucked, while the bibs come with a convenient popper strap around the collar.
Please Note: These were not used during the Second World War.
