Original South African SADF Marine Qualification Badge

These excellent quality Original South African SADF Marine Qualification Badges were introduced in the early 1980s, and were awarded to Marines once they had passed basic training. The SA Marines were disbanded in 1990 after restructuring of the Navy after the end of the South African Border War.

Worn on the breast, these measure approximately 4cm across and 4cm high and are attached via two pins on the back.
