The Veste de Combat FÉLIN Jacket represents a milestone in French military history. Introduced in the late 2000s under the Fantassin à Équipements et Liaisons Intégrés modernization program, this jacket was issued to French infantry units. It replaced the aging F2 system to provide superior modularity and environmental protection.
This heavy-duty garment is made from a dense cotton-polyester sateen weave, designed specifically for cold-weather temperate operations. It features the official Camouflage Centre Europe (CCE) woodland pattern. Standard features include elbow pad pockets, adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs, and a robust double-zip front closure.
The storage layout is exceptionally versatile. It includes two button-closure chest pockets paired with two zippered slash pockets, two hip pockets, and arm pockets with an easy-access pull tab. Complete with hook-and-loop arm patches on both sleeves and a chest name patch, it offers unbeatable organisation for gear.
For extreme weather protection, the jacket features a detachable hood with an integrated wire for rigidity. This unissued supergrade surplus jacket also includes a dual-access rear back pocket, underarm vents, and internal pull-cord waist adjusters, providing a high-utility barrier against elements in any environment.
