The FELIN combat jacket was developed in the late 2000s for the French Armed Forces under the Fantassin a Equipements et Liaisons Integres programme. Built for infantry regulars and the French Foreign Legion, it was introduced to replace older F2 patterns and support high-mobility temperate operations.
This genuine issue jacket is made of a lightweight, tear-resistant ripstop weave in the Camouflage Centre-Europe print. This hoodless version features a protective high collar, heavy-duty reinforced elbows, adjustable midsection cords, and tape-threaded Canadian buttons that prevent pocket closures from tearing loose in the field.
For bushcrafters, hikers, or military surplus collectors, the jacket delivers direct tactical utility.
