The FELIN(Fantassin à Équipement et Liaisons Intégrés) System was introduced in the early 2000s, marking a shift towards more versatile, smock-style military uniform designs. Used extensively by paratroopers and the French Foreign Legion, this jacket is designed for all-weather utility with extensive storage capacity.
This variant is constructed from a robust ripstop material, providing significant protection. The loose profile allows for comfortable layering over thick thermal base layers. The jacket secures with a two-way front zipper shielded by a buttoned wind flap and uses slotted 'Canadian' style buttons, which are attached via webbing for improved durability.
