Genuine surplus kit bags from the French Army. Used to carry equipment during parachute jumps, these are sturdy and well built bags suitable for all kinds of activities.

Originally designed to hang in front of your legs from a parachute harness, they can also be setup as a backpack or carried with the side handle, far more convenient for everyday use. The folding design of the bag means it can take a huge variety of loads, all of which will also be protected by the thick wool lining. Being parachute equipment, all the hardware is sturdy and very hardwearing, in addition to looking great.

We have both the original 1981 style in green with solid triangle fittings (Type 1) and the 1983 tan coloured versions with screw lock triangular fittings on the rear and stamping on the front flap (Type 2). Stock of the Type 2 is very limited so get yours now!

Please note that while these are in good condition, that under no circumstances should these be used as load bearing or carrying equipment for parachuting or other extreme activities. They are no longer rated or tested to any standard.
