Description
As worn by officers during World War II, our original British Army Officer Neck Ties are in fantastic condition, reflecting the quality and craftsmanship of wartime military apparel. These ties are crafted from rayon, a popular material used during the era due to its durability and versatile finish, and feature the distinct khaki green colour associated with British Army uniforms of the time.
The ties retain their authentic 1940s construction, characterized by a simple, unlined design that was typical of military-issued accessories. The unlined nature of the tie ensures a lightweight, slightly softer feel while maintaining its shape and structure when tied.
These neck ties are a fine example of vintage military attire, offering a direct connection to the period and provide an understated touch which is great for either every day use, or as part of a larger historical impression. If ironing is necessary, we advise to use a low to medium heat setting and always press on the reverse side of the tie. Place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid direct contact, as rayon is delicate and can easily be damaged by heat. Whenever possible, opt for steaming instead — it's a gentler and safer way to remove wrinkles.
