These particular Original British Army Rank Chevrons were worn by NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers) in the British Army from 1920 to 1953. Specifically, the rank of Corporal. Their versatility makes them a perfect choice whether you are looking for WW1 or WW2 British Army re-enactment. These measure approximately 15cm in length and a width of 5cm.
The rank of Corporal is the second-lowest rank of a non-commissioned officer and was usually in command of a section. The junior is the lance-corporal, who is second in command of a section.
