Introduced in 1914, the British Mark III 37 Pattern Ammo Pouches were designed to accommodate larger magazines, a key modification that made them essential for soldiers during World War Two. Slightly longer than the previous Mark II variant, these pouches ensured a better fit for the new magazine sizes.
These original pouches, marked with 1940s stamping, are a perfect addition to any reenactor’s arsenal. They come in various colours, with some featuring a “blanco’d” finish for camouflage purposes. As these are genuine surplus items, you’ll find some signs of wear and age, including faded colours, wear marks and, in some cases, worn buckles.
