Description
Issued as part of the 37 Pattern webbing system, the "L" Straps were designed to serve as shoulder straps for the Haversack and Large Pack.
The straps attached to buckles on the packs, allowing soldiers to carry the haversack or large pack like a normal backpack. The straps also had hooks to attach magazine pouches to if needed.
These items are sold in pairs - one right side "L" strap and one left side.
Please note: Due to the surplus nature of these items, some degree of variation in colour and quality can be expected. Some are also clearly marked/named by the soldier who wore them.
Please also note: there are obvious signs of oxidisation on some metal work but this can be removed with a good cleaner.
