Description
Originally issued as part of the 37 Pattern webbing system, these L-Straps were a handy and essential item for soldiers carrying a heavy haversack. They attach securely to the pack’s buckles, allowing for a backpack-style carry. Additionally, these straps feature hooks designed for attaching magazine pouches if necessary, enhancing their versatility for use in reenactment or airsoft.
A piece of original British Army surplus, made from sturdy cotton canvas, these straps do feature some variation in colour and condition. Some straps may bear markings or names of previous owners, adding to their historical authenticity. Minor signs of oxidization on metal components are typical, but can be cleaned fairly easily.
