Emergency NRG Food Rations

These rations are compressed high-energy biscuits. The NRG rations are developed for use in relief operations during natural or manmade disasters, for emergency preparedness, outdoor activities, and as a food supplement. They come in a pack of 9 biscuits, with each providing 255 kcal of energy. The biscuits are made of a mix of roasted wheat, vegetable fat, sugar, vegetable protein, and malt, with added vitamins and minerals to provide a balanced nutritional boost. They have an exceedingly long shelf life of between 10 years (minimum) and 20 years (maximum). This ration pack is a great item to add to your survival kit for use in an emergency.

Edible, filling. And, useful in worst case scenarios.

Not the tastiest food, Epic Militaria has on sale. But, will outlast most of the food in your kitchen cupboard. If you would like to give them a try, I would suggest having a drink to hand. And, don't use too much water, if you would like to try it's 'porridge' form. In my opinion, they taste: not bad, not great. A potentially good emergency alternative, to a meal.
