Norwegian Volunteer Shield Patch
Reproduction volunteer shield as worn by Norwegian volunteers during WW2.
Worn on the shoulder by members of the Norwegian Legion. The Legion was formed in 1941 to fight against the Soviet Union and it fought in the siege of Leningrad. It was disbanded in early 1943 and many members would go on to join the SS Division Nordland.
The patch features the Norwegian flag embroidered on a black shield.
The patch measures approximately 7 x 6 cm.
