German M44 Pea Dot Field Cap
Quality M44 Pea Dot camouflage pattern field cap.
These caps are the same material as our popular dot peas tunic and trousers. The Dot 44 camouflage (‘Erbsenmuster’) was a late war pattern, first issued on 1 March 1944 exclusively for the Waffen-SS. The camo was designed for use in all seasons, thereby dispensing with the need for reversible uniforms. There was a significant amount of variation in the Dot 44 pattern, with differing dot sizes and a variety of shades depending on the colour of the base fabric that was printed onto.
These field caps are sturdily made with a cotton inside lining and a great addition to complete a pea dot outfit.
