Reproduction M8 Scabbard
As used with M3 trench knives or M4 bayonets, the M8 was used from early 1944 and replaced the leather M6 model. As originals, they are stamped US M8 ad the top of the sheath and feature an olive drab belt loop and hand strap with a pop stud for securing the knife in place.
The sheath of the M8 Scabbard is made with an olive drab plastic, with metal throat plates inside. The olive drab belt loop allows for easy attachment to a trouser belt, cartridge or pistol belt.
These M8 Scabbards fit the M4 Trench Knife or M4 Carbine Bayonets with a 6.75 inch blade.
