German M43 Reed Green HBT Drill Tunic

These combat tunics were issued to field troops serving in the Wehrmacht forces throughout World War Two. They were worn on both the Eastern and Western fronts during the summer months, with the HBT material offering a lighter and more comfortable alternative to the warm wool uniforms. These are the second type tunics, which introduced a more simple design on the pockets and other areas to ensure faster and more cost-effective manufacturing during the latter years of the war.

The tunics come in the reed green shade of the originals, with a line of subdued tunic buttons down the front. They have a pair of pockets on both the chest and the waist, as well as infantry piped, field grey wool shoulder boards, as were commonly worn with the tunic.
