WW2 reproduction Cap Insignia for the 'Hermann Meyer' visor caps of the Luftwaffe.
These cap badges are for the Hermann Meyer caps of Tropical Luftwaffe forces, a jibe at Hermann Goring's unofficial name. He was mockingly given the name after claiming "No enemy bomber can reach the Ruhr. If one reaches the Ruhr, my name is not Göring. You can call me Meyer."
They are hand embroidered in silver bullion wire on a tan backing.
