A pair of Luftwaffe Officers epaulettes.
This style of epaulettes would of been worn by senior Luftwaffe officers, of the ranks Major, Oberstleutnant (1 pip) and Oberst (2 pips). The red base is the Waffenfarbe of Luftwaffe anti-aircraft artillery, Flak, units.
These high quality shoulder boards are made up from a silver/grey braid, with a red wool base.
