Quality reproduction Luftwaffe Pilot Badge.
The Pilot Badge, or Pilotenabzeichen, was awarded to memebrs of the Luftwaffe who had completed flight training and received certification. As with other flyer’s specialty badges a cloth version of the pilot’s badge was authorized for wear on the flight blouse with a machine embroidered pattern for EM/NCO’s and a hand embroidered pattern for Officers.
Made with silver bullion on a grey cloth backing.
The badge measures approximately 8 x 6 cm.
