The yellow backing of the collar tab denotes the wearer as an elite Fallschrimjager (paratrooper) of the Flieger Division. The silver gull and oakleaf wreath on each tab represent the rank of Major.
Embroidered silver bullion on yellow with a silver piping.
The collar tabs measure approximately 6 x 4.5 cm.
