Legion Condor Armband - Printed
Quality reproduction armband of the WW2 German Legion Condor, printed in black on cotton.
The ‘Condor Legion’ consisted of both Luftwaffe and Army units sent to support General Franco and the Nationalists during the Spanish Civil War. The first units were dispatched on 1st August, 1936 and the last units remained in Spain until March, 1939. The majority of German forces that served in Spain were Luftwaffe personal, and these armbands would have been worn by members of the Luftwaffe serving in Spain at this time.
The armbands feature the Luftwaffe Eagle and Legion Condor text in black gothic print on a red cotton armband.
