These quality reproductions of the World War Two German Kriegsmarine High Seas Fleet badge, Das Flottenkriegsabzeichen, are finished to a very high standard.
This award was instituted in April 1941, and was worn on the lower left of the left breast's pocket on the service tunic.
Requirements for this award were 12 weeks service at sea having demonstrated good conduct, or participation in a notable engagement with an enemy.
These Fleet Badges are made from a zinc alloy, and are complete with the correct vertical pin on the reverse alongside the maker's mark.
