An excellent reproduction WW2 Kriegsmarine Administrator trade badge, for enlisted ranks.
All personnel in the Kriegsmarine were assigned a specific career trade upon completion of basic training. The relevant, distinctive trade badge would then be worn on the upper left sleeve. For enlisted ranks this was a small, circular badge, worn alone by the lowest rank (Matrose), or below the chevrons for Matrosengefreiter through to Matrosenstabsgefreiter. The white backing on this badge indicates that this badge was to be worn with the Kriegsmarine Tropical and Summer uniform, as regulations dictated that the backing colour on insignia must match that of the uniform worn.
