At one end of the strap, there is a single adjustable loop and stud to attach to the rear grip of the gun, the other end has a black steel clamp that attaches to the front of the weapon. Made from beautiful cross-hatch textured leather, these K98 leather slings measured 135cm in length with a width of 2.3cm (just like the originals.) This specific sling is made from dark brown leather with black steel fixings on either end to attach to the gun. On one end, the sling benefits from a single adjustable loop and stud that attaches to the rear grip – the other end has a black steel clamp that fastens to the front. The nazi eagle and wreath is engraved into the leather which is a meticulous piece of detail most reproductions don’t have.

The Karabiner 98k or Kar98k was a gun manufactured by Mauser, and produced in Germany between the years 1934-1945. The gun was commonly used within the military and an estimated 14.6million were produced for the Axis. The gun had an effective firing range between 500-1000m (depending on the sight) and it could house 5 rounds at a time. It was the primary service rifle of the Wehrmacht.
