This is a great quality 1st Class Iron Cross, die struck one piece, antique silver finish with black painted centre, 1939 and swastika on the front, with screwback fitting for attachment.
The 1st Class Iron Cross also known as the EKI was awarded for multiple acts of bravery in battle, or a distinguished actions above and beyond the call of duty.
