Infantry Regiment Grossdeutschland Officer Cuff Title with the inscription 'Inf.Regt.Grossdeutschland'.
The Infantry Regiment Großdeutschland was formed in 1921 and was initailly a ceremonial unit. By 1939 it was an elite infantry unit that participated in the invasions of France and the Low Countries. It later served in the invasion of the Soviet Union and in 1942 was expanded into the Großdeutschland division, which fought at the eastern front until it's destruction in 1945.
The Großdeutschland regiment was the best equipped in the Wehrmacht and had priority for new equipment.
With gothic script in silver aluminium bullion thread on green wool with silver borders.
The cuff title is 45 cm long and 4 cm wide.
