Reproduction WW2 German SS Frw. Legion Nederland BEVO Cuff Title.
Worn by members of the 23rd SS Volunteer Panzer Grenadier Division Nederland. Consisting of volunteers from the Netherlands.
Following the German occupation of the Netherlands many Dutch were recruited into the SS Volunteer Legion Niederlande. The unit fought extensively on the Eastern Front against the Soviets. From April 1943 it undertook anti-partisan operations in Yugoslavia until December that year.
Returning to the eastern front for the remainder of WW2, Nederland fought around Narva and was pushed back into Germany before surrendering to US Forces in May 1945.
