German Luftwaffe Fallschirm-Division EM Cuff Title
High quality reproduction Fallschirmjager cuff title as worn by German Luftwaffe enlisted men during WW2.
The 1st Fallschirm-Jäger-Division was an elite paratroop division of the Luftwaffe. Its members helped capture key bridges and the fortress of Eben Emael during the invasions of Belgium and the Netherlands but suffered heavy losses in other attacks, such as that of The Hague. The division was part of the successful invasion of Crete, but due to the heavy casualties German Forces would never again undertake a large scale airborne assault.
In 1943 the division opposed allied landings in Sicily and spent the remainder of the war on the Italian Front. It surrendered to tthe Allies on 2 May 1945.
