The Wehrmacht Long Service Medal was issued for satisfactory completion of a given number of years of military service.
This 25 year service medal is classed as being the second class medal, awarded to the Army, Navy and Air Force.
The medal comes with length of the appropriate blue ribbon with a gold eagle and swastika pin.
