Reproduction WW2 German Großdeutschland Sutterlin Script BEVO Cuff Title.
Worn by Officers of the Großdeutschland Division. Formed from the elite Großdeutschland regiment in 1942, the division fought exclusively on the Eastern front. In April 1945 it was destroyed in battles near Pillau.
The Großdeutschland division was the best equipped in the Wehrmacht and had priority for new equipment.
Sütterlin is a historical form German handwriting that was still in some use during WW2.
Made from aluminium silver bullion thread on black woven wool base with aluminium silver wire border and has the Großdeutschland inscription.
