German Army Style Black Folding Shovel and Cover - Large.
These are ideal for winter and a must have in the boot/trunk of any car during the colder months.
The head on these can be secured either in the traditional position as shown or at right angles to the handles so as to allow use in a pick/hoe action - ideal if you need to dig something out of snow. The handle design of these ensures an excellent grip allowing the shovel to be used to its best effect when compared with straight handled/traditional models. The bevelling to the edges is pronounced so would be effective if trying to use as an emergency cutting implement.
When open they measure 22 inches (56 cm) in length and 6 inches (15 cm) in width, with the head individually measuring 8 inches (20.5 cm) by 6 inches (15 cm). When closed and placed in the case they measure 9.5 inches (24 cm) by 7 inches (17.5 cm).
