German Army Signals Operator Badge as used by those serving with Cavalry units.
Featuring the lightning bolt of the Nachrichtentruppe des Heeres (Signal Corps) in the gold-yellow Waffenfarbe of the Cavalry. Signals operators were responsible for the construction and repair of military communications, such as radio and telephone networks.
